Do I need a visa to travel to North Cyprus?
For many nationalities (including Iranian passport holders), a pre-arranged visa is not required and a short-stay entry stamp is issued on arrival at Ercan Airport. The standard stay granted is up to 90 days. Please check the latest rules for your nationality before travelling.
When is the best time to visit North Cyprus?
The best time is spring (April–June) and autumn (September–November), with mild and sunny weather. Summer (June–August) is perfect for beach lovers but can be hot. Winters (December–February) are generally mild and suitable for cultural and city tours.
What should I pack for the tour?
Essentials include: a valid passport, comfortable clothing and walking shoes, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, swimwear (for beach tours), phone charger and plug adapter (UK-style sockets) and any personal medications. In winter, a light jacket is usually enough.
What is the local currency and can I use my bank cards?
The main currencies are Turkish Lira (TRY) and Euro. International credit/debit cards are widely accepted in hotels, shops and restaurants, but we still recommend carrying some cash (Euro or TRY) for smaller purchases and local markets.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation up to 30 days before departure: 15% fee 15–30 days before: 30% fee 7–15 days before: 50% fee Less than 7 days: 100% fee (no refund) We strongly recommend purchasing travel cancellation insurance.
Is English widely spoken in North Cyprus?
The official language is Turkish, but English is widely spoken in tourist areas and major cities. Because of the large number of international students and visitors, you will also find Farsi and Arabic speakers in some places. All of our tours can be arranged with English-speaking guides, and Farsi- or Turkish-speaking guides are also available.
